Remote Sensing of Earth

Online ISSN:

Aim & Scope

RSE is a peer-reviewed professional global journal of remote sensing of crop and soil science published quarterly. The aims and scope of the RSE are to help towards innovation, distribution and application of the knowledge of remote sensing technology for plant and soil science. Thoroughly interdisciplinary, RSE publishes on earth sensing. The focus of the RSE is on biophysical and quantitative approaches to remote sensing of crop and soil at local to global scales. The journal mainly welcomes interdisciplinary work emphasizing on dynamic crop and soil processes and functions across space and time. The original, neither published nor currently under review by other journals or conferences, research manuscripts will be considered for publication.

The journal is aimed:

  • To promote interdisciplinary research in and application of remote sensing and GIS in crop and soil sciences;
  • To enhance global exchange of knowledge on new developments and applications in the field of crop and soil sciences; and To encourage the publication of timely manuscripts and research results on remote sensing and GIS applications in crop and soil sciences from the global science community.

The journal welcomes contributions on original research articles, and review articles that deal with remote sensing for crop physical and biological stresses, multiple crop classifications, yield predictions, condition monitoring, crop water, crop phenology, crop-related soil characteristics, etc. In addition, we consider manuscripts that embrace every aspect on soil sciences with remote sensing and GIS. All contributions appear only in the English language, with reliable spelling, using British or American English.
