Role of the Reviewer:

  • Evaluate the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript.

  • Provide constructive feedback to help authors improve their work.

  • Recommend a decision (accept, revise, or reject) based on merit, not personal preference.


Timeliness:

  • Complete your review within the requested timeframe (typically 2–4 weeks).

  • If you're unable to review, kindly decline promptly so another reviewer can be invited.


What to Consider in Your Review?

  • Originality and novelty of the work

  • Clarity of objectives, methodology, and results

  • Validity of data and soundness of analysis

  • Relevance and adequacy of references

  • Ethical standards (e.g., plagiarism, data integrity)


Writing Your Review:

  • Be clear, respectful, and constructive.

  • Separate major and minor comments.

  • Avoid personal comments; focus on the work, not the author.

  • Support all recommendations with reasoning or references.


Confidentiality and Ethics:

  • Do not share or discuss the manuscript with others.

  • Disclose conflicts of interest—financial, institutional, or personal.

  • Do not use unpublished data or ideas from the manuscript.


After Submitting Your Review:

  • You may be asked to review a revised version.

  • Your comments may be shared anonymously with the author(s).
