About the Journal

The Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI) Insights is an interdisciplinary online scientific journal of remote sensing of earth science that publishes semiannually (2 issues per annum) original research and review contributions in the field of Geospatial Technology with Artificial Intelligence techniques, Digital Image and Signal processing Internet of Things (IoT) for agriculture, land management, urban studies, forestry, and its relevant applications. The journal welcomes authors, readers, and scientists from the international community, encouraging global/local geospatial research. It serves the earth observation community with the periodic outcomes on geospatial studies' theory, science, applications, and technology. In submitting the manuscripts, the author(s) must be assured that they have not submitted elsewhere simultaneously. All contributions appear only in the English language.

Articles in GeoAI Insights are open access published under the Creative Commons (CC) Attribution 4.0 International License ( http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). This license permits use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work and source is properly cited. The journal publishes articles under Science Transactions, India.

The journal is a Gold Open Access journal, online readers don't have to pay any fees.

Article Publication Charges

The GeoAI Insights is an open-access initiative conducted by the Science Transactions, India. We publish only high-quality research contributions in the form of results or reviews. All published manuscripts will be freely available to the authors, readers, scientists, academicians, industrialists, and worldwide scientific and user community without any publication or subscription charges until 31 December 2026.

The journal is currently free to the authors, and all Article Processing Charges (APCs) are waived until 31 December 2026.

Publishing timeline/speed:

• 15 days submission to first editorial decision for all manuscripts (average)
• 4 to 6 weeks from submission to first decision after peer review
• 1-2 weeks from acceptance to publication
